I am an American who dreamed of buying an apartment in a very specific location in Paris. I am certain that Paris Buyer and their sister company, France Home Finance, are entirely responsible for me finding the perfect home with the least amount of stress possible. The team showed extraordinary care and skill with our home search which required an off-market search and a lot of patience. There were several moments in the last 2+ years when they could have advised us to settle for less suitable homes, which would have benefited their company but potentially disadvantaged us. This team’s honesty, integrity and high competency are noteworthy. Once we found the perfect home, we encountered a short time window to secure a mortgage and close, however France Home Finance made this happen without breaking a sweat ! We used FHF to help navigate the purchase of a semi-commercial property on a chateau wine estate in the Languedoc, and they were great. The nature of the property was such that many mainstream banks would not touch it, but Linda at FHF was able to find us several options and guide us through the (several !) administrative hoops needed to get the funding and complete the purchase.That we were able to complete yesterday and have in place both a French current account, mortgage, and insurance was testament to Linda’s help. My husband and I are from the US, and we bought an apartment in Paris about 7 years ago. It’s not an easy task to navigate a French real estate purchase and closing. Tahminae Madani Zahra Chaudhry were such a lifeline for me all along. They were especially helpful during our two closings. They are accessible, speak excellent English and were always ready to help when I needed something. I felt like everything in Paris was loaded with red tape except my relationship with this company and especially with Tahminae.

We never would’ve gotten our home without Martin Heathcote’s help. At the time of final transaction closing, we had only been in the country for 10 months, to the day. We didn’t have years of CDI payslips or even a French tax return yet. Martin understood the credit landscape quite well, and also guided us through a [thankfully minor, relatively controlled] banking crisis that occurred in the middle of the process, spring of 2023. Martin’s colleague Zane was also instrumental in getting us through the hoops of mortgage insurance, health checks, paperwork details, and straightforward, plain-language explanations of the high points, all with an eye toward how the market here differs from our known context of the States. In the end, we were able to finance a sizable portion of the transaction, form a new valuable banker relationship, successfully close, and move ourselves and our two kids into our forever home here in France. Linda at France Home Finance was instrumental in purchasing our second home in France. As Americans, we were rejected from mortgages within our budget by dozens of banks. We reached out to several brokers before Linda and none of them were able to find us a bank willing to work with our situation (and citizenship). After nearly 4 months of searching, we almost gave up - but then we met Linda. She reached out to her contacts to find us a bank willing to take us on. Throughout the entire several-month process, she was extremely communicative and responded to my emails very quickly. Her grasp of both the English and French languages is excellent. Whenever I had a question, she would clearly articulate the next steps required and organize the many (many many many) documents needed to close on a mortgage in France, limiting the amount of work I had to do to turn everything around. I would highly recommend Linda with FHF to every American I know, and we will definitely be using her services again in the future.
